  4.     This is a short text file just to get you started.  There is a Help
  5. file included with Route1 that explains all of its features, and how to use
  6. them.  I strongly recommend looking at the help file, so that you can take
  7. full advantage of Route1.  It explains how to access submenus, how to create
  8. scripts, and much more.  It replaces the text file that came with earlier
  9. versions of Route1, because the text file was getting too long.  This help 
  10. file is accessible through Route1 by pressing [?] on any menu or dialog box.

  14. To Install Route1:
  15.  
  16.     Select 'Run...' from Program Manager's 'File' menu, and type:
  17.                 d:install
  18.     where d: is the disk drive where the Route1 installation disk is.
  19.  
  20. >If you are a previous user of Route1:
  21.  
  22.     version 1.x - your Route1.INI is NOT compaiable with version 2.1
  23.     version 2.0 - your Route1.INI IS compatatible with version 2.1
  24.  
  25. >If you are using Windows 3.1:
  26.  
  27.     Install copies VBRUN100.DLL to your Route1 directory.  This file
  28.     is only needed for use with Windows 3.0, so you may delete it.

  30. >To install Route1 yourself:
  31.  
  32.     Copy all 70 Route1 files to their own directory.  It takes a
  33.     little over 660k on your hard disk.
  34.  
  35. >To setup Route1:
  36.  
  37.     Add Route1 to a Program Manager or Quick Access group as you normally
  38.     would, or have Route1 appear when Windows is loaded by adding it to
  39.     the lines in WIN.INI starting with 'Load=' or 'Run='.

  41. >To learn about Route1:
  42.  
  43.     1.  Select "Run..." from Program Manager's "File" menu, and type:
  44.                 winhelp
  45.  
  46.     2.  Select "Open" from WinHelp's "File" menu.
  47.     3.  Change to the directory where you have copied the Route1 files.
  48.     4.  Select "ROUTE1.HLP", and press "Ok".
  49.     7.  Follow the instructions under "Getting Started:  Installation"

  96.     First of all, of any harm should come to your system or files while
  97. Route 1 is installed, I take no responsibility.  Don't panic - Route 1 is
  98. safe . . . as long as you use protection . . .
  99.     Although some of the included icons are derivatives or enhancements
  100. of commercial program icons, it is not my intention to distribute any material
  101. that its creator(s) or legal owner(s) would object to.  I will immediately
  102. remove, or alter to their satisfaction, any icon(s) which is brought to my
  103. attention as proprietary in nature and should not be freely distributed.  The
  104. design, look, and feel of all the different parts of my program is either
  105. purely of my own invention, or a thorough alteration and combining of what I
  106. wished many other programs should be.  It is also not my intention, to mimic,
  107. or to lessen the effectiveness of any other software in existence. I wrote
  108. this program originally for my own use, and am distributing it for other
  109. people to use strictly for my own satisfaction of making something that
  110. someone else finds useful, or even necessary.

  113. are morally obligated to pay for it; just $14.00 gets you FREE technical
